No. Stop with all the remakes that are generally worse than the original.

It made sense that it was clean, in contrast to the outside. In the dome, illness and aging were eliminated, everything was controlled. One of my favorite movies from the 70's. (The tv series was terrible, though)

It was filmed in these parts and I remember when the casting call went out for extras.

The "dome" was Love Field in Dallas. The steps in the water segment was filmed at the Fort Worth Water Gardens in downtown Fort Worth.

I like this movie a lot. It was very trendy back in the day. I think the special effects are great. I particularly like the scenes in the ice cave.

I have the DVD. You can get it on amazon for $5.00.

The TV show Community did a spoof of Logan's Run this week. It was pretty funny.

Thought it was a great movie and even better book. And of all the stupid remakes Hollywood has done why hasn't this one ?
And keep an eye out for Jenny Agutter in the new Captain America:Winter Soldier

I hope she doesn't wear the outfit she wore in Logan's Run, she looked awesome in it when she was 25, not so sure now that's she's 60

Funny Logan's Run segment in a FOX cartoon (can't remember if it was the Simpsons or Family Guy) in which they were at spring break and the MTV VJ's hand started glowing red and was quickly replaced by a younger girl.

If they made a remake of Logan's Run today, they'd probably rewrite the plot to highlight some environmentalist agenda.

Yup, Logan's Run would be a good one. Add to that list:

Silent Running (old Bruce Dern) given that so many planets are being discovered.

Ice Station Zebra (New cold war nearly upon us)

Fail-Safe in color and not with a celebrity pilot

Star Trek the Wrath of Kahn, never too soon for a new Star Trek movie, maybe this one in the alternate time line too.

Funny, I was just thinking recently that the gizmo they have for choosing sex partners reminds me somewhat of Chat Roulette.
