I can honestly say I have never seen a single Mad Max but this one looks pretty good. I think I'll have to check it out.

You should check out the original ROAD WARRIOR sometime. It is a true classic. MAD MAX is actually pretty disgusting and bad. BEYOND THUNDERDOME is silly.

Most movies that brag about action are short on everything else.

The action looks almost ridiculously over done which is a trend these days. I'd go for a gritty realism like in the first one.

Remakes very rarely are an improvement on the original and are usually far worse.
