I saw it last night. Very interesting. While watching it reminded me a bit of Upstream Color in that it shows you a very unusual sci-fi story and lets you put the pieces together yourself, as opposed to, say, Prometheus, which instead tries to tell you one. I loved that it was set in Edinburgh, with many scenes featuring locals having accents so thick that they seem more alien than she does. Scarlett Johansson did a great job, if you consider the role required very little speaking and even less emotion. I have newfound respect for her in that she would take on this role at this point in her career. However, I'll admit I'm still a bit puzzled about what to make of a few of the scenes; even after reading other peoples' interpretations.

That being said, I imagine most people going to see it only knowing that it is an alien takeover movie featuring a mostly- and completely- naked Scarlett Johansson are in for quite a shock. The theater manager said the 20-somethings in particular were being vocal about being confused and disappointed after seeing it.

Have you seen it? What was your take?

Have not seen it...yet.

First, not crazy about seeing her say little (I like her raspy voice).

Secondly, the trailer for her OTHER movie named Lucy looks absolutely AMAZING.

Yes, and I'll most likely see that one, too, but it's Luc Besson so expectations are tempered as far as the movie will be concerned.
