I guess Interstellar doesn't have enough lightsabers for some viewers.
I guess but I respected it despite that. It was a great movie despite not enough pure action. Ironically this year had only two action films in my top 5, Kingmsan and Jurassic World
Interstellar's great the way it is. Not every movie must be loaded with "har har" moments and laden with constant breakneck action in order to tell a story.
Interstellar is a pretty good movie that tried to do too much and went too long. Not being able to understand the dialogue in a Hollywood movie should be a jail able offense for the producer. Much of it was fascinating. Much of it was humdrum...hardly adequate for a television soap.

My thoughts exactly. I enjoyed it, but I thought the script could have used another edit. The middle act went on way too long and went down too many rabbit trails to no end.
I'm late to the party. Just now watched it on Netflix. I enjoyed it. I found it very interesting, the thought of love being a huge force in our universe that we might not give enough credit to. (When will we learn.)
Spoiler
I must say, though, that one of my favorite parts of the whole movie was when they first caught sight of the wormhole, and the crew member, right next to Matthew McConaughey's ear, was losing his ****, saying, "That's it!! That's the wormhole!!!" and Matthew quietly says, in that slow Texan drawl, "Say it, don't spray it, Rom," as he's still calmly navigating the craft.
Would be cool with more examples of life on different planets. Shorter ending....the ending was drug out and a bit weird.
