Excerpt, from Momoa: "There's a big battle, and there's an epic [fight]. It's also a big road movie, because we travel all over the world. It's got that Star Wars quality of gigantic ships and guys riding sharks."

He saw a different STAR WARS than I did. I sure don't remember anyone riding sharks. Though now that I think about it, there should have been someone riding sharks in STAR WARS. Less cutesie. More sharks.

Mark, he's obviously talking half-seriously, half-jokingly. Remember, in ROTS, we didn't see Obi riding a giant shark, but he did ride a giant lizard called a dragonmount. Going from land to sea, you'll ride sharks because lizards can't breathe underwater.

As was I. Only not half. More like 90% jokingly.

Although no that the idea was in my head, I would still love to see stormtroopers riding sharks. And Wookiees riding giant squirrels so that Chewie can properly fight Nazis.

JAMES WAN: It’s going to look very different, it will feel very different — aesthetically, tonally, story-wise — it’s my own take. It’s a much more a traditional action-adventure quest movie.”

The first official pix from James Wan's Aquaman production filming in NZ happen to be of Amber Heard as Mera! Enjoy!

She looks the part, but just from her brief appearance in the JL movie, her acting REALLY has me worried.

If Patty Jenkins can direct Gal Gadot (who's improved a lot), I'm sure James Wan can direct Amber. And she'll be fine.
