There's a preponderance of movies filmed with the liberal perspective/ideals in mind.
What are some movies you can think of that do the same for conservatives?
Try "Birth of a Nation" and "Triumph of the Will". They are radically racist and ethnically bigoted and should carry a pleasing message to conservatives.
I've also had dreams of my husband and I being happy hermits in the mountains, living off the land. Will definitely check that one out.
It's a really interesting, although rather "artsy," film. A little depressing, but it's kind of a cool movie as told from the perspective of the "happy hermit couple's" young (but very bright) daughter. The visuals are really nice--New Mexico desert/steppe.
I don't see Idiocracy as leaning either way. I think it takes some heavy duty swipes at both sides.
It has been one of my favorites and the humor is over the top (which I like). But lately Idiocracy is seeming more and more like a Stephen King story. Very scary. It's scary because it seems to be coming true. And no, that is not me taking a swipe at liberals or conservatives. It's me taking a swipe at society in general.
