Have none of you heard of Claudine Longet ? former wife of singer andy Williams . she was prosecuted in the 70s for killing her bf spider savitch a ski instructor . I always admired andy Williams for coming to her defense in that incident . she was frequently on mchales navy and my dad always said she was a knockout .
Without any doubt Raquel Welch. She was the only pin up for me after I saw her when a 12 year old child in 'One Million Years BC'........ Years later, photos of me in my army room have Raquel posters on the wall behind me. I saw every one of her lousy films. Not a good one there.......

Seems to be a fine line between sexpots that get relegated to B movies and beautiful women that appear in blockbusters. A highly successful actress can be very beautiful but she likely should not be centerfold fodder. Unless landing a gig as Wonder Woman or Bat Woman etc.
Then of course we have the likes of Halle Berry and others. So?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Julie Christie, who was not only one of the great beauties and a style icon of that decade but also an acclaimed actress who won many awards. She was incandescent in Dr. Zhivago.
