If we are talking about Black Comedies the one that still cracks me up is.
"Don't be a Menace to South Central While Drinking you Juice in the Hood"

If we are talking Dark Comedies, I really enjoy almost anything by Wes Anderson.

"The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou"

"The Grand Budapest Hotel"

They are quirky, fun with a dose of longing sadness and tragedy.

Wes Anderson is my current favorite movie maker, and Coen Bros. of course...

Fargo is the perfect dark comedy.

Well, this is a tv series, but it's darkly funny. Yet can still have scenes to rip your heart out. Just be aware if you watch the uncut DVD's, there's a LOT of swearing. But it's not what I would call gratuitous, as it's used pretty appropriately at the times it's done:

"Dead Like Me"

P.S. Don't watch the Dead Like Me movie, IF it's going to be the first time you check out the series. It didn't turn out well compared to the tv series.

I never really see the point in threads that are just lists, but I'll put in a good word for Eating Raoul.

"Arsenic and Old Lace" is one of my all time favorite movies. Something a little newer (1975) "A Boy and His Dog" starring a very young Don Johnson.

Whew, "A Boy and His Dog" I haven't thought about in many years.

But I remember the last line: "...a boy loves his dog."
