A good horror/mystery with twists along the way, maybe one or two gaps......but that's okay. Especially good to watch it in the dark when one lives in the rainy country side. A 7.0.
Pretty good sci fi/horror flick even if another example of "The Ultimate Computer". A good thing about the cast is that despite the big names of Depp and Freeman, you don't see them as that but the characters they are playing. The movie all goes to show that for those so hooked on AI and technology, they ought to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer in series first. A 7.6.
Binged for three nights on Lord of the Rings, deluxe set, two dvd per movie.
We saw these in the theatre when they were first released then got the extended versions. But never watched back to back. Read the books long ago.
While watching the quality of production really made an impression. The design elements, hair color, wigs, makeup, costume, prosthetics, head pieces, lighting, sets from shire cottage to the halls of kings. Designers and crafters were real artists.
Then the casting, can't think of a role that wasn't a good fit. And the commitment of the cast was so solid. That was a tough movie with incredible physical demands, sword play, running, climbing mountains in snow, wind, rain, cold, hot. Anyway it was impressive.
Really noticed the Norse saga elements of the story this time. Always been aware of it but after reading Bernard Cornwell's Uhtred of Bebbanburgh novels it was all the more evident.
Wild with Reese Witherspoon. I think its a remake of older version. There's a scene in there that absolutely kills me and I bawl like a baby lol
