Of course, this will be 100% OPINION, and I expect that there might be some very heated discussion, but what prompted this thread was today we saw "Bullet Train" -- and in all my 69 years, I can't ever remember seeing such a horrible movie in my opinion. In fact, as a disclaimer, I walked out of the theater after 30 minutes because it was just so gory and the plot was not very clear, and it was NOT at funny, although it was billed as a comedy thriller. However, my husband DID remain to the bitter end, and he said it did not get any better and he hated it, too.
Btw, before this, my two nominees for worst film were "Zoom" and "Sky High".
I'm going to have to say that it has to be a toss up between " The Room " and " Freddy Got Fingered " , though I never even managed to watch the latter film in its entirety , so it might very well be much worse or much less worse than the first mentioned film .

Too bad you walked out. Near the end, there's a scene where the movie's highlights are shown in flashback, all from the perspective of a water bottle rolling on the floor. Very creative camera work. I do agree, they could have done without all the gore. Totally unnecessary.
The only time I've ever walked out of a theater was for one of the "Living Dead" movies, I forget which one. So I guess that's the one that was the worst for me.
Well, my son and I walked out of "Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone," which is the only movie I've walked out of.
Interestingly enough that movie seems to have built up a bit of a cult following , especially as the result of Michael Ironside's performance as Overdog .
In fact all the hardcore Michael Ironside fans I've ever met seem to mention this role of his , though that could just be a weird coincidence .

It was originally shown in theaters in 3D (with the glasses and all). It was terrible headache-inducing 3D.
George Lucas' Sky Bandits from about 1986 was pretty awful. Battle Beyond The Stars was also pretty bad. Campy, it would be good on MST3000. Leonard Part 6 was just over the top retarded.

Room might be really bad in every aspect, but it's not half as bad as Freddy Got Fingered. Not even a competition imo

Spacehunter is the very essence of a "B" movie (and not even a memorable one in the context of that decade), but nowhere near bad enough to walk out on. There are much worse films out there. Michael Ironside is always a reason to watch something.
