Two daughters and myself cried throughout this movie...yet is was bad. The acting was bad, the story dragged on ....but we just kept on crying lol. Completely contrived!

So anyone else see it and cry and think it was a bad movie besides us girls?

I saw it last week..thought it was incredibly sad. Have you read the book? It was so much better...plus, I found there were several scenes in the movie that just didn't seem to fit, but in the book they were really important.

The movie could have been good had they followed the book. If you cried at the movie then you should read the book.

You can never compare a book to the movie.

I loved this movie.
