I have not seen this but it sounds like I would like it and it sure is getting lots of buzz.
I have read some comments from the public, seems either you like it or don't and perhaps the public won't like it quite as much as reviewers.
Sounds a bit more like a foreign movie, quiet, makes you reflect.
I have not seen the other movie by the director either "Old Joy".

Anyone seen either? Looking forward to hearing comments on Wendy and Lucy. If its fairly limited release it may never come near my town and I'll have to wait for dvd.

It's an interesting film, but some of her choices can be a bit aggravating, even if placing one's self in her place. I don't regret watching it, and, if given the opportunity, I might view it again. The acting is solid.

It would make an interesting mini-marathon with "Wanda", an equally bleak film:

I loved that film but then again Michelle Williams can do no wrong in my opinion. One of the most talented actresses I can think of. She always makes me forget I am watching a movie and always draws me into the story and her character. We need more artists like Her, a credit to Her profession.

And she also sounds like a grounded, non starry and quite intelligent young woman too.
