I agree about DeNiro in this movie. His southern accent was way off, he tried so hard to look evil in the movie but, sadly, he couldn't pull it off.
I also hate to typecast, but Scorcese and DeNiro are so New York, I don't get how these two can be chosen to re-make this movie.
