I think the first movie I ever saw at a drive-in was Bambi. I screamed so loud when the mother was killed I thought my mom was going to have to muzzle me. Other than that, I cried so hard that I couldn't breathe at "Bridges of Madison County". A chick-flick, I know.

I rarely or never seem to get involved enough in a movie to cry. Sometimes I just say "I don't cry at movies", but that makes me sound macho and I'm really not. I mean I have little crystal things and cry during certain Sarah MacLachlan songs.

There was a documentary on the genocide in Rwanda that I think made me cry, but I can't remember it's name. When it's clearly about real people going through such terrible pain it hits me a bit. Also there are some musical moments in movies that make me close to tears or maybe cry on rare occasions. No good example is coming to me at the moment of one though. "Snoopy Comes Home" might be close, but I don't know if it was that close and might be a cliche choice.

LOL Bambi was nearly unendurable. And what about Dumbo?

Bridges of Madison Country was great. And I don't really like chick-flicks either!

Bambi was very hard on me as well.

AI (Artificial Intelligence) made me cry like a baby, that poor little boy.

I've shed a few tears at alot of movies, many of them mentioned in this thread. However the one that I completely "lost" it on - breaking out in heavy sobbing.. was "The Notebook".

There have been so many, including many that have been mentioned on the first pages of this thread, but of those not mentioned that come to mind. "Imitation of Life" (a very old movie,) and "The Killing Fields".
