In my opinion, Christmas Vacation is the best of them all and a bona fide classic, easily my favorite all time Christmas film.

The original is a great film. The Las Vegas one is pretty good.

The European one isn't that good.

Hey! If any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one. I'd like Frank Shirley, my boss, right here tonight. I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people and I want him brought right here, with a big ribbon on his head, and I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-a**, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey s*** he is! Hallelujah! Holy s***! Where's the Tylenol?

Is it just me, or does "Vacation" seem to get better every time you see it again???
I'd say it's just you.

Vacation has its moment, but for the most part the further in years one gets from being a teenager, the more the hilarity of the film wanes.

Nah, I still love Vacation. I have that one & European Vacation on VHS. I used to have Christmas Vacation on VHS too but it has mysteriously disappeared. Never cared for Vegas Vacation. I can't even remember it actually, that's how little I thought of it.

I love in the first Vacation when Randy gives Clark the white dress shoes ! Too Funny Then he wears them at the bar and Christie walks in ! Such a great sweet scene

Christie what a natural beauty !

I remember seeing this in the theater everyone laughing !

Such a wonderful time period

My wife and I always watch Christmas Vacation when the Holidays roll around.

Euro vacation wasn't that bad. It was funny when the family stayed with the wrong people they thought were relatives and funny when Clark does the dance with the German guys on stage. Funny when their video camera gets stolen and Ellen becomes the toast of the town withe her sexy dancing and don't forget that poor little dog that jumped off the tower to fetch Rusty's beret ! It was a good movie and still better than half the junk today.

I think its sad this movie did the same thing POLICE ACADEMY DID!!

The first one (RATED R) is excellent same as the first vacation (RATED R)

The sequals are dumbed down and not nearly as good... (Either PG-13 or even worse PG)
