Very nice! This is one of my very favorite songs and I swear every time I listen I get chills, the melody and content and just sublime...imagine a world where people only thought of each other. What a world. I think we need to all imagine just a little more. Maybe it will become more of a reality. I especially like the first vocalist, great voice!
This is some really good stuff, as I interpret it, infowars on cable news stations, where the premium is on provocating the audience into fear, rather than disseminate news.
For my parents, friends, family...during a very dark time in my life. I love this song, it's an old one but so beautiful about how we can show our humanity towards our fellowman, and just simply care when they need it.
"If the sky above you should grow dark and full of clouds
And that old north wind should begin to blow
Keep your head together; and call my name out loud,
Soon I'll be knocking upon your door."
:: far away... low rumble of thunder awakens Me ... glances down at the
dog-eared plastic card of the American flag... thumb rubs dust and dirt
away... America... always been My first love ::
...It's hard to fall out of love, completely It's harder to find a way to come back, discretely
:: shifts silently... impatiently awaiting a shadowy display...
needing transport swifter than the speed of light... music! the carrier
that supplies the vehicle within... where feelings are felt...now!...
reaches thru granite... pulls beloved's ribbon to My lips... fingers quickly
finding her hidden treasure... becoming their own... lightning rays... ::
Shawn Phillips - She was waiting for her mother...
Right after a snowfall comes the most perfect silence, Complete total silence. You lose almost all sense of where you are.
