This thread is the first thread that I was drawn to in this forum, I loved the spirit of this thread. It's not just a multi post whatever you are listening to thread, it's a thread for those few select special songs that touch you in a unique way. I challenge everyone to use the "What are you listening to" and "Anything Goes" threads for most of your songs and reserve this thread for the really special songs.

Here is the original post on this thread...

"This thread is for those that want to go a step beyond, posting not just the title and artist of the song(s) that they are currently listening to, but also feel free to add commentary and thoughts pertaining to the tune and/or group. Of course, lyrics and other material must not be posted that infringes on copyrights - lastly, no back-to-back postings... Again, the purpose of this thread is to not just post and share the tunes currently listening to, but to feel free to add to the richness of the music and sounds via interpretations, experiences, etc. Now with that jibberish out of the way , here be tunes that tickled ears this late morn':"

Thanks...

You don't even need lyrics if you know how to play the guitar right. You also have to know and understand what you are hearing!

You are missing the point. But oh well, not everyone will get it.

I know what point it is. If you don't feel that tune, something has gone wrong. Blues and Blues influenced Rock has some of the most feeling ever put into music. I see your 10 and raise you 1.

That's right it does..and I'm a medium and I brought it forth.
Can you feel it???

Good point I tend to get out of control with lyrics. The rule is 5 lines...

Love this song from Phantom...one of the most seductive songs ever.

"Past the point of no return
the final threshold -
the bridge is crossed, so stand
and watch it burn . . ."

I think it's great if you are feeling it in your posts...and if you share why it helps others to see why you are feeling it. I don't think it's necessary to always share why you are feeling it. But it's nice if this thread is not spammed with so many posts so maybe it's easier to listen to other posters songs and feel their song with them. I do and try and listen to all the songs. It's impossible to keep up with it when so many are posted.

Anyway...I love the song you posted. In fact I heard it the other day when driving on the freeway...and I thought for me...about how much I love music and how unifying it is to everyone.

If anything this thread is what that is about. Using music to unify and share...posting so many songs is almost like "the day the music died" lol
