Well, it's Friday again on the Music forums, but right now, I've got some torrential rains and thunderstorms heading through the Dallas area right now. Quite an adventure outside, id-nit? Don't worry. It'll all blow through quickly and things will be quiet again in a few minutes. In the meantime, happy TGIF to everyone.

And don't forget that toes go in first!!

Take care!!! I'm sure you'll weather the storm.

That's Texas for you. One minute: sixty-mile-an-hour wind gusts. The next minute: quiet as a mouse.

Don't you just hate disabled embeddings on YouTube??

Probably the same way I hate commercials on YouTube videos (it's an unnecessary wait!).

Well, folks, tonight saw some rough spring weather in my area, and I've had to be vigilant. I originally did have plans to actually be out of the apartment, but had to change them at the last minute due to incoming violent storms. Just so you know, I'm okay and the apartment is still standing.

See you all tomorrow!

Default Hump Day / Thoughts

Happy Hump Day! Welcome to Wednesday right here in Musicland. Hey, where is everybody? Maybe everybody's tied down at work today, but a bunch of our regulars and semi-regulars haven't been around at all today. Those of you that wondered about the thunderstorms and tornadoes in the Dallas area from last night, I made it through it all just fine. The apartment's still in one piece, and incredibly, no one at my work had any hail damage from last night (the baseball-sized hail fell just a few miles from them). The people in my life were very lucky. Now, I've got a big weekend to look forward to while awaiting the results of my recent body scans. Nevertheless, enjoy your day and you, too, have a big Memorial Day weekend to look forward to.

Speaking of which, it's the middle of the week.....on the way to that big weekend!

Let's hope those body scans work out for the positive (as in playing tunes for the next 50 years!) lol.

A good friend of mine works for Heritage Auction Galleries in Dallas. Talked to him this morning, he works the evening shift. I left a message on his voice mail; he told me he was headed for the basement when I left the message as the tornado was passing over them. Scary.
