One of the great jazz pianists!

The community radio station in my area played a variety of tunes of his from different eras of his career earlier this morning, and it was a treat to hear them. He put out a lot of material over nearly six decades on nearly two dozen labels, the most noted recordings came on labels like Prestige, Argo, Riverside, Atlantic, ABC Impulse and many other labels. He will be missed.
