We definitely are on both sides of the family. Ancestors came over about four/five generations ago, which we know is just a brief moment=} Some married Indians aka Native Americans of the Illinis/Illinois tribe. The most recent generation have been spreading out more, so the Irish is being thinned out, with no new redheads for quite awhile. All of us grew up on family history. One side of the family came from County Antrim; the others were from the south, sort of scattered around. BTW: Mom and Dad were a case of the Orange and the Green, respectively, but Dad switched from Catholic, so we were never torn on that issue.

I'm auburn and proud of it~though it took me a few years to accept myself. Yes, I've spent my life assuring people that it's not dyed=} I am a redhead with dark brown eyes, which I'm told is a rarity. That would be nice.
There are many wonderful artists, but I just wanted to memorialize The Clancy Brothers & Tommy Makem. Later, I'll toss in The Chieftains and who knows who.
I can't help it! The Clancys and Tommy Makem do THE BEST versions of many songs! I can say this from hearing dozens of versions of these songs throughout five states and in recordings.
