Let's have a lil bit of fun. How many of you have screwed up the lyrics to a song (new or old/whatever genre), or have heard someone singing and screwing up lyrics. Only to realize your transgression after someone gives you that "what in the world???" look after you've sang "Count your blessings" to Prince's "Controversy" song, or you've given it to someone else after being guilty of an equal offense! I'll start, when I was little I thought the "Another Saturday Night" song said "Saturday night and I ain't got no money, I got some money cause I just got paid." Huh?? Left me confused for hours afterwards. I know that's really stupid but hey I was little!!! Okay guys, fess up!!!
If you think "Even Flow" is bad, try "Yellow Ledbetter." I don't think any of the guys in the band (including Eddie) know what the lyrics are to this song. Watch this hilarious misheard lyrics video for a demonstration:
There was an 80's song called "Tuff Enuff" by the Mighty Thunderbirds. The lyric sounds like, "I would walk ten miles on my ten-cent bees/Ain't no doubt about it, baby, it's you I aim to please ."
The real lyric is "I'd walk ten miles on my hands and knees." Even though I know what the real words are, to me it still sounds like "ten-cent bees."
George Harrison's 1973 song "Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)" has a line that sounds like, "Give me light, give me life, keep me free from birds."
It's really "keep me free from birth."

Reason: to correct a mistake and add more information.
Everytime I hear Michael McDonald's song What a Fool Believes it sounds like he sings---The white man has the power instead of the wise man has the power. I thought, wow, that is a racist song, how can he sing that?
