I don't. The only pedal I use is a volume pedal, because I got tired of the tone getting flattened out whenever I wanted to come down in volume and dialed down on the guitar. Other than that, a Les Paul plugged into a Fender amp is all I need to play the blues . . .

I've fooled with it but prefer plug and play NO BS style myself as well.
