YouTube - Del Shannon Runaway - Granted it's from the perspective of the person who didn't move on.

YouTube - Reba McEntire - Fancy - "Mama's going to move you up town." (Originally by Gentry, one of the few songs I know of to make gold-digging/hooking sound feminist)

YouTube - Loreena McKennitt - Caravanserai (HQ) - "What is that quest that pulls me onward"

YouTube - The Monkees - Last Train to Clarksville - "I must go and I don't know if I'm ever coming home."

YouTube - Genesis (Phil Collins) - No son of mine - "And I never would go home again." (Well okay in the song he does, but still)

YouTube - Cinematic Orchestra - To Build A Home - "And now it's time to leave and turn to dust." (Maybe including it's a reach)

This might be awkward to some of you (especially since its coming from a video game) but I can't help but hear this song and feel like its a song about moving on, starting a new life, saying goodbye to the good memories you had with some, etc.
