Let me just start by saying I'm 37 and have been a Hip Hop fanatic since I was 9 or 10. I don't have any problem with him I just don't get him. Here we have a guy, who, on one track is very sing songy, soft, and emotional. Then on the next track, acts all hard, gangsta, and like a mafia boss. I like to listen to all kinds of Hip Hop. His videos are comical to me. The " Headlines" video is hilarious as he tries to act ghetto. His " Hold On We're going home" video is worse as he, in the end, shoots all the " bad guys". The day Drake shoots anyone is the day leprechauns fly, I just don't get his appeal. We know he didn't start from the bottom, with his privileged background as evidence. Someone explain his appeal.
