One of my favorites was my grandmother.

The theme song to CSI is Who Are You by The Who. She thought they were singing "Blue orange, blue blue, blue blue." Everyone in the room cracked up at that one!

I'm pretty good at lyrics. One of the few I've misheard for many years is Blur Song 2.

Now this song is very garbled, as bad as Louie Louie or Bruce Springsteen at his worst, and many people probably dont have a clue what hes saying. But I thought I did. And to this day, even tho I know the actual lyrics now, I like my interpretation better, so I hear this:

I got my head shaved
Buying some OJ
It wasnt easy
But nothing is

When I feel nothing at all
And I'm pissing out the door
Well I'm high and I'm easy
All of the time that I'm never sure why I need you
Please I need ya

I got my head done
When I was young
It's not my problem
It's not my problem

The funniest one I ever heard was the guy who thought that "Might as well face it, you're a dick with a glove" was a song about Michael Jackson.

There is, of course, Elton John's "Rocket Man" "burning up a useless aerodrome".

My favorites:

"There's a bathroom on the right" instead of "There's a bad moon on the rise"

"And you were waiting there standing in a pile of cheese" instead of "And you were waiting there standing in apologies"

My ALL TIME favorites from one song:

"Revved up like a douche, another rumor in the night" instead of "Revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night"

"And little early birdy gave my anus curly wurly and asked me if I needed a ride" instead of "And little Early Pearly came by in his curly wurly And asked me if I needed a ride"

There's Garth Brooks's song "Shaving" (aka "Shameless").

Hilarious, I still think to this day that is what they sing in "Love to See You Tonight."

I got the lyrics wrong from a great song by "They promised us jetpacks"

I thought they were singing "Wild little horses"....I was wrong.

"All the broken hearts in the hospital wing"

This is what I really thought it said.

It is actually "All the broken hearts in the world still beat.".
