For a long time up to about 5 years ago I heard Constant Craving by KD Lang in almost every damn store I went into. Thank God that period ended. However she has been replaced by Clay Aiken's version of Solitaire.

Seriously I have never heard this song on the radio. it was not a big hit, it dates from early 90s - but its STILL being played in stores, I think just to annoy me

There is one song that I honestly hear 85% of the time when I go to grocery stores here in Arizona.

Of course I am talking about "A thousand miles" by Vanessa Carlton.
I don't know what is it about that song but it is the perfect song to make groceries. It puts a smile on my face and makes the dreadful experience a little bit more pleasant.
