It's time once again to try for a new record in the instrument category.

Currently held by Crownvic95 at 0.189 seconds.

This one is 0.188 seconds and listen once. Come back later and listen again. When I listen a few times it becomes more cloudy to me as to what and who.

This is just a wild guess. I can't say I've pinned down where that exact note would be, but parts of it are the same kind of sound.

Thanks Crown & Jim on my Rabbit catch, I think Howard threw it out there for me, as I posted the Nixon version way earlier in this thread, lol. Thanks Howard, very nice of you to throw something out there past 1964 for a change. I liked it.

Not sure on this one, sounds like a horn, which immediately led me to Herb Alpert's Tijuana Taxi, but I don't think the horn sound is quite the same. That's all I got on this one.

This one is a lot tougher than the two previous "record" clips. There are soooooo....... many songs it could be.

When I scan down the list of the Billboard top 100 for almost any year in the late 60s, I'd have to listen closely to half of them to rule them out. And even then, it would be tough. Because some songs move so fast in certain places that a sound like that, short as it is, could easily get lost in it and overlooked.

case44 or HH or square or jim or others may have an idea.

On record attempts I do not give clues. I may make an exception here.
I've been using added audio as clues.

However I will say that in the comment made by you at the top and the comment made by mofford there are clues. They are extremely hard to detect but they are there.

It's not a song by Herb Alpert.

Well, I don't have any idea on this one. I thought the Hawaii Five O theme seemed plausible. My 1st and only thought was The Troggs / Wild Thing, but that didn't work. So I'll drop by and read the comments a time or two each day.

If no one gets it by tomorrow I'll add audio which would not make it a new record but the added audio will get it solved.
