Ken Hensley, the multi-instrumentalist and prolific songwriter died today. He was in a number of bands burnt was best known as the keyboardist and primary songwriter of Uriah Heep. He also sang lead and backup vocals and played acoustic and steel guitar.

Oh man. Former Gods/Uriah Heep drummer Lee Kerslake passed away a short while ago and now Hensley as well. Sad to see them go.
