You are in good company SP! Perhaps you should consider investing in a bottle of good "old" Geratol vitamins LOL. Just kidding! I'm not quite forty and I've been considering it!!!! Hehaw! My tribute to the late Jimmy Stewart as George Bailey in "IAWL!")

P.S. I know you aren't old!

Okay, back to the subject of this thread. I'd have to say "Blinded By The Light." Way over played for way too many years! Shoot, was that the title? It was written by Bruce "The Boss" Spring whatever. Did you hear my chuckle all the way over there in Ben and Jerry land?

6/3

They did a version of that song? I never heard it. Some of their songs are hard to take, but some are really good. Great harmonies in my book!

And, "We've Only Just Begun" is a sacred wedding song. So 6/3 be very, very careful and watch your back! You don't want any angry brides chasing you-believe me!!!!!

Hi Jadybug! If memory serves that song that the Carpenters done was originally done by Dionne Warwick, came out Feb. 70 or so. On the subject of annoying, I heard Melanie's Brand New Key on the oldies station. Didn't like it then, ditto now. I can think of other Melanie songs that I'd rather hear, like Lay Down (Candles In The Rain).

Songs like that could be blamed for people going crazy at work
Remember how they played loud rock music to try and drive that dictator out? There's another one for ya
I wouldn't be surprised if they used songs like that in government mind control experiments
OMG you gotta be kidding me about your workplace playing the same song over and over and I would go crazy if I've had to hear that song every single day at my job, at my work they play the same songs every single day of the week and I'm getting so sick and tired of hearing the same songs all the time and I can relate to how you're feeling, what kind of music does your station play?

One song I used to hear all the time at work that drove me nuts was Ricky Martin's "She's All I Ever Had"

It's not my workplace that played the music,it was the station they had on-

B101 - Philly's Soft Rock Station
