World Liberty Concert 1995
~ was a concert that took place on 8 May 1995 next to the John Frost Bridge in Arnhem in the Netherlands. The concert was held in honor of the fiftieth anniversary of the liberation of Europe and is the largest memorial concert ever held in the Netherlands.

Turkish pianist/composer Fazil Say wrote a complete orchestral work in 2009 about the inhumanity of war called Nâzım Oratoryosu, which puts music behind the spoken poem "On Living" by Nâzim Hikmet.
The work is 1 hours 49 minutes and features orchestra, choir, solo vocalists, pianist, and spoken voice. To watch that search YT for "FAZIL SAY - NAZIM ORATORYOSU - NAZIM ORATORIO" which has English subtitles. There is a newer recording on DVD too.
