I'm sure I'd heard his Clarinet Concerto in A Major K622 before seeing the movie Out of Africa because I love and have listened to Mozart for many years, but it really hit home emotionally when I heard it in the soundtrack. I first went to see the movie in a theater with a long time friend. He was totally surprised when I just fell apart during that Adagio, sniffling and wiping away tears. Now I often play it while on some scenic drive. Still gets me every time!
