Listening to it FlashM brought to mind the
Killer Dwarfs! ... lol... UTube didn't have much
of the band but they had at least the following
which is very very low audio...
I thought to post it anyway so that people
could at least see /and somewhat hear them...
So I was at the shopping centre the other day and they had my favorite!
BARGAIN BINS!!!!
So I shuffled through looking for something that might take my fancy and for the princely some of $0.50c(AU) (that's $0.39US on today's exchange rate! ) I found this, which I asked to hear at a listening post and on the basis of the first two tracks bought it!
So here's the two tracks I listened to, let me know what you think!
I also got a dvd on the making of Metallica's Black album for the princely sum of $3.00AU (or $2.35US )!!!!!
Hey Moonie,
just listened to that same album a couple weeks ago-got my head bangin' fo sho,
had an old friend turn my on to them-they're a "muscians" band-very technical stuff
this is one of my favs off of this album
Here are some badass bands that got me interested in the new metal & brought the resurgance of my CD buying addiction.
I like to call it the second wave of american metal-SWOAM
yes i'm a dork-but a metal dork mind you
Funny how such an intelligent man could be so damn crazy. But then again, it sure helps with publicity. Manson once made the comment that at the time, more people believed in him than believed in Jesus. Scary to think he was probably right.
People don't give this guy enough credit. Weird, yes. Stupid, no. His lyrics are more than just mindless babble. He has a clear message. You just have to get past the glam.
"Say you want an evolution, the ape was a great big hit. Say want a revolution, and I say that your full of ****"
"I wanna thank you mom, I wanna thank you dad, for bringing this ******** world to a bitter end"
nice pick with Ocean b-never heard em-muchos gracias
Who's in the band?
I think there is a core band (German?) but they recorded a bunch of material with guest musicians and a lot of them were from the Hydra Head scene that I mentioned earlier. Members of the bands Breach, Converge, and Coalesce are featured at least on the album that has the song I posted. And speaking of the latter: Coalesce was a brutal band who also knew the classics. They released an entire album of Zeppelin and other covers.
Here's Coalesce playing a song of their own
Cannot beat the Battery......
Only Metallica can charge the battery....
Metallica are the Master of Puppets....
They will never Fade to Black.......
They Ride The Lightning.........
They drink the Fuel.........
They want Justice For All.......
