We're all familiar with Judas Priest's legendary 1981 album Point of Entry. We've cranked "Heading Out to the Highway," "Desert Plains" (best song, IMO), and especially "Hot Rockin'" many, many times. This, along with the next album Screaming For Vengeance, was Priest operating at the peak of their powers.
And then there is "Don't Go" (OV). Been posted? Probably not.
That's pretty funny. I used my usual method to make sure it wasn't in there, but I figured every Priest video has been done at least once or twice, so I went with "probably not."
True. I just tried it again, and the only results I got were my post and your reply. Haha!
Hey, did you ever figure out which band it was, re: the "rip it up" refrain?
I never have figured it out. I di, however, discover that according to the search feature, and we know how that sometimes works, Danzig's "Mother" was never posted. Get out those mesh shirts from your closets, everyone.
"Mother" was posted in a couple of the metal threads, but not this one, as far as I can tell. That first Danzig album is a classic in my book. The next two are nearly as good (but I enjoy them as much), and IV's right behind them.
I know this one has never been posted (I did check, lol) but it's mainly because a lot of people don't know it exists.
Blue Oyster Cult's "The Marshall Plan" from Cultosaurus Erectus (1980). The funny thing about this video is how Eric Bloom sports a prop beard for the "live" scenes!
