I was wrong about this and had to edit. I did not hear the song in a while. the Under God part disqualifies the song from being an illuminati rallying cry.

Ahhh...heard this today...nice blast from the past. I never paid much attention to the lyrics before. Kind of profound.
"These people round here wear beaten down eyes
Sunk in smoke dried faces
They're so resigned to what their fate is
But not us (no never), no not us (no never)
We are far too young and clever
Remember
Go toora loora toora loo rye aye
Eileen I'll hum this tune forever"

I simply enjoy the music esp the guitar part. I don't see an allusion to any rally cry in any way. This song is not political. From my perspective the lyrics refer to the time spoken of in the Bible when God will reign over a peaceful earth. There will be no need for presidents when the world is united under "God". Seeking solutions to our problems in human leaders is futile. No earthly being (President, PrimeMinster, King...) can ever bring about peace. It is a futile goal because humans are inherently selfish and corrupt. We all need learn from the past mistakes and to live in peace and harmony that is when we can make this world a better place or our future (the children) will continue to cry.

I go along with all that, but in my opinion the guitar solo ruins the song. I do not like guitar solos.
