I've been obsessing over Kate Bush for the last week because I bought a remastered copy of 'Hounds of Love' so I'm doing another post on it. This time from 'The Ninth Wave' section of the album which is a series of songs (side 2 of the vinyl) that comprise one continuous piece. If you are a fan of the avant garde artists of the 80s and don't already have this album (although that would be difficult to imagine) then I highly recommend you get it.
Just one small warning, 'Waking the Witch' is a bit freaky and might be a bit disturbing to some. If weird sounds and satanic death metal type voices bother you then don't watch it. Some of the images in this fan made video are a bit freaky too. In the context of the album it is absolutely brilliant though.
I didn't grow up then but I loved the 80's. Heavy Metal, and some top 40 but mainly Adult Contemporary. I really like the one-hit wonders. Yes I still have a lot of them on tape.
