Saw this black cat waiting for me tonight on my run-walk. It was on the sidewalk way ahead of me and didn't appear to be afraid of me as I neared it. It just slowly started walking ahead, looking back. For some odd reason, I felt like it was "luring" me. It sauntered across the street and was still walking along looking over at me. Then some car approached us...I was afraid it was going to run into the car's path and...well...
Smart puddy-tat...just made a beeline into a yard. I'm glad it ran off into the night without harm.
