Thought I'd get y'all in the holiday spirit a little early, since my local soft rock station is already playing Christmas music. So, here are a few for you.
Ever see a funnel cloud in person? I had the rare privilege about six or seven yrs ago during hurricane season and WOWWWW! It was just hovering over the bay...most incredible formation...just whirring around. By the time I grabbed my cam, it broke up. Imagine my disappointment!

Worse, I was on a roof once when the sirens started going off. The wind hit about 100 MPH and limbs from trees were breaking off around me. My boss came running out and yelled up to tell me... "get your azz down from there you crazy SOB"! Well, I did and headed for the basement. It never touched down near us but you could see it off in the far distance. The wind around it was strong enough. I think they said that one was like a F-2 or something.
