This theme's arrangement was also featured in the early to mid 1970s on CBS' prime-time movie series. Here is that classic Morton Stevens theme in its entirety. It differs greatly from the concept the network used before this.
Oh, and that second theme was also used on ABC News' late-'70s newscasts before Roone Arledge took them to World News Tonight heights.
