Alright, since I'm snowed in tonight, everything's closed, and I'm bored, I think I'll start a "10 Song Shuffle Thread" and see if it takes off. It's also a great way to share music and get songs, IMO.
Here's the way it works:
1) Grab your iPod or preferred medium of playing music.
2) Put ALL of the said device onto shuffle/random (no missing out on that embarrassing Britney Spears song!).
3) List the first 10 songs that come up in order.
4) Highlight in bold your favorite of the selection.
5) The next poster comments on your list and makes the thread interactive by praising/mocking the above persons' list.
I'll start us off, and I hope people on city data actually have iPods.
Rock Your Baby - George McCrae
Honey White - Morphine
The Tears of a Clown - Smokey Robinson
(Untitled) How Does it Feel? - D'Angelo
Lost in the Plot - The Dears
The First Vietnamese War - The Black Angels
So You Wanna Be A Rock 'n' Roll Star - The Byrds Eurochild - Massive Attack
The "Sagat" theme from Street Fighter II
On a Plain - Nirvana
Not from an iPod, but rather from a randomized playlist generated off our WMP, shared by me, my daughter, and my husband.
Haha. I always thought Korn's cover of Cameo's Word Up was hilarious. Props for having Perry Farrell and Radiohead on there. Solid playlist.

Now You're in Heaven - Julian Lennon
Sweet Love - Anita Baker
Take Me Home, Country Roads - John Denver
Starglow Energy - Funkbrueder

"An Old Fashioned Love Song" Three Dog Night
"Bad Boys" Puff Daddy & Mase
"Wonderful! Wonderful!" Johnny Mathis
Wow, my musical taste is actually more varied than this list shows.
I'd comment on other lists, but I don't recognize most of the music.
I'll bite -
38 special - Caught up in you
Folk Implosion - Free to go
Beatles - Everybody's got something to hide except me and my monkey
Clinic - Harmony
Kraftwerk - Trans Europe Express Failure - Blank
Radiohead - National Anthem
KRS one -Can't Stop, Won't Stop
Eric Clapton -Knocking on Heavens Door
Foo Fighters - Free Me
I guess I need to get more new music on here - I think the newest stuff on this list is 7 or 8 years old!
Aaron, how nice that I'm not alone in how old my music is - although I'm sure the age of my music makes yours look young!
Maybe I should try again... Here's my second attempt:
'65 Love Affair - Paul Davis
I Can't Make You Love Me - Bonnie Raitt
Houses of the Holy - Led Zeppelin
The Breakup Song (They Don't Write 'Em) - Greg Kihn Band Bad Time - Grand Funk Railroad
Your Woman - White Town
The Way It Is - Bruce Hornsby and The Range
Model - Simply Red
One Bad Apple - Osmonds
Come As You Are - Nirvana
Quick, can anyone guess what era I was raised in? (Oh, wait, no highjacking the thread... sorry!)
