Two others that will be always linked together will be Norman Petty and Buddy Holly. Petty was one of the top producers in the 50's and 60's. His Norman Petty Recording Studios can still be seen in Clovis, New Mexico. He got Buddy involved in producing some of his songs after producing his very early material.
