I'm jammin' in the red house over yonder! I forgot to post this song on another thread. Someone commented that he tunes a guitar better than most people play. Hilarious, but true!

Very true saucy. Another important thing to remember is he often tuned down 1/2 step to E Flat. Rugged

Also do you want to know how SRV and Jimi got that thick/heavy tone out of a Stratocaster? Heavy gauge strings, that is the only way to get that warm thick sound out of a single coil pick-up guitar. Bet you guys didn't know that?LOL........ Rugged

Oh duh, Rugged is jamming in his basement in the Midwest. My jamming preferred equipment as far as guitars go is a Gibson SG Standard, Gibson Les Paul Standard and a American Fender "Texas Special" Stratocaster with SRV pick-ups. Amps are a '65 Fender "Super Reverb" and a Marshall Super Lead 100. Rugged

My TAMA drum set is in my living room and it takes up over hald the space. I practice for at least an hour a day, usually more. I'm currently playing with a gigging rock band in Austin, TX. while until their regular drummer--who, in true drummer fashion, is in jail--returns to the band. We have a gig this Friday night at a private party in San Antonio.

Jamming at home tonight but my 1930s-to-1960s country music may not interest many here.

D35 Martin dreadnought and a Ibanez 511 mandolin; among others.

This pretty much pays tribute to all the practice required to keep your skills up. Rugged
