...reach over to my Love...empty place in the bed...but still warm...look around the room...fresh flowers in a vase by the bed...hear Him coming up the stairs...door opens...He is carrying a breakfast tray...brings it over to the bed...see Him start to put a sign on the door handle...ask to see it...JUST MARRIED DO NOT DISTURB...giggle as He joins me in bed...We never did get to go on a honeymoon you know...I start to protest...This vacation was supposed to be for You...He grins...lifts one eyebrow...and a honeymoon isn't for Me?? ...I smile and set the tray on the floor...
...out on the deck off of Our honeymoon suite...leaning on the rail...taking in the lake view...sipping on my tea...my Love drinking His coffee...He comes up behind me...puts His Strong Arms around me...I turn towards Him...trace my finger down His cheek...eyes twinkling...He takes my small hand in His Large One and leads me back inside...
I'm watching "Coming Home", which I do from time to time. Can't quite erase the personal losses of Vietnam.
Anyway, it has one of the best soundtracks in the history of the world......IMO.
Here's one of the songs but I admit that I think of Whoopi Goldberg in Chilly Willy house shoes dancing to it in......well, that would give away the title of the song. Everybody boogie!
...while my Love is lightly snoring...get up and pad downstairs...taking the breakfast tray down...take a quick peek around...getting my bearings...find the kitchen...
...glad to see it seems fully equipped...see what we have to fix for a quick lunch tray...cut up some cheese...fresh fruit...a loaf of french bread...fix two tall glasses of iced tea...take a quick glance outside...lovely...just lovely...
...curb the urge to go explore more...after all...it is Our honeymoon...giggle to myself...hear my Love stirring upstairs...
