Hi,
Can anyone recommend a reliable mover from NYC to Myrtle Beach?
I have really heard some nightmare stories.
We are not shipping any furniture, except for a few tv's, stereo and computer.
So mostly personal items and kitchen stuff.
Any input wld be appreciated.
Thanks.
Jo Carol

Your best bet?

Rent a Penske box truck from Penske or from Budget. If you are unable to load it, hire a couple local men to load it for you. An ad on Craigslist will easily accomplish this, or plain word of mouth.

You will come out MUCH cheaper and if you aren't moving that much stuff, it will likely be much easier for you to boot.

This is what we did....we hired locals to load the truck in our old town....someone in our family drove it and then we hired two clean cut guys here in myrtle beach to unload it....very inexpensive and they did a wonderful job. I would highly reccommend them....

We used Charles Wood & Sons & found them to be reasonable & careful.
