Hi, I used to live down in the Myrtle Beach area when I was much younger and need help remembering the name of a park I used to walk my dog in.

It was just South of the NC/ SC border. It was a pine forest which led down to the water (inlet I think but not sure). They had some woodwn walkways along and over some grassy wetlands. Down by the inlet there were many old oyster shells.

I seem to remember and old white house by the dirt parking area.

any info would be greatly appreciated- I tried searching google maps but could find it. Thanks.

Was this in the Little River area? If elsewhere on the NC/SC border, you might try posting your question in the general SC forum.

Was it Vereen Gardens? It is just across the border in Little River, they have a walkway to the water with a small pier. I don't know if it has always went by that name or not, but it is controlled by the county now. That is the only park I know of in Little River.
