How would Florence be for a "diner" atmosphere or are there many there already? Breakfast only, 7 days a week, open at 5 a.m. close to route 95.

Any comments?

Dont listen to that post about high crime. Just like every other city in America, their are bad spots which in Florence are in the North and eastern parts for the most part. I say look around the 95/20 interchange and the exit 164 (Highway 52) off I-95. Need anymore questions, I would have no problem to answer them.

The I-95/I-20 interchange already has a Waffle House and IHOP. The Huddle House was recently torn down to make room for a larger convenience store. The Golden Corral at that location serves breakfast on the weekends. The I-95/US 52 interchange has a Waffle House and Huddle House. The Quincy's steakhouse at that location serves breakfast on the weekends.

The I-95/US 76 and I-95/SC 327 interchanges each have a Waffle House but there isn't enough traffic to support more than that. The I-95/TV Road interchange has the Iron Skillet restaurant but there isn't enough traffic to support another restaurant. Downtown Florence has Bazen's and the Venus Pancake House, which usually wins the newpaper poll for best breakfast.

South Florence, which is the area around Carolinas Hospital and the Irby Street Walmart, seem to be the only area lacking a good breakfast restaurant. With that being said, I would really like for Denny's to locate in Florence.

Open one in Myrtle Beach or open in Conway. Lots of people use Conway like a pit stop goin to Myrtle Beach. I never stop in Florence. Too much crime.

Around Myrtle Beach/Florence/Conway you'll find a lot of Meat & Threes that pretty much make a diner overkill.
