We are looking for a couple of people to load our rental truck with the furniture and boxes from our condo in Murrells Inlet, S.C.
We would be willing to negotiate a price but are looking for someone to do it for around 40 dollars an hour.
Would like someone that has done this before so we can get everything to fix into truck.
Basically have a 2 bedrooms, livingroom, diningroom and washer and dryer, patio set, and boxes
Need someone to do this on August 2nd, starting at 9:30 a.m.

I would recommend that you get a professional with insurance. You won't pay much, if any, more and they will do a better job than someone off the street. When we moved, we used Fairway Moving & Storage and they wrapped all our furniture in plastic to keep it clean, took our beds apart and packed the truck so things would not shift and charged a flat fee for up to 4 hours. You don't have to use their truck...they will pack your rental. And they have insurance in case they break something or they get hurt. If you hire someone off the street and they pull their back or trip in your condo and break their leg....guess who's going to pay.......

We've used them twice...once when we first moved here to unload our truck and a second time when we moved from our rental to our house. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

I called one firm (xxxx guys and a truck) and they were the same price as the company mentioned above but they didn't have liability insurance so if they broke something, they would just say...ooops...sorry...and that's what they told me over the phone... So, be careful who you hire even if they are an established company in the phone book.

Best of luck with your move.

CT...thanks for that info. When we move down in two years, we'll need the same thing, so it's nice to know there already is an insured group that will be willing to unload!

I used these guys and they were the best! And they were very reasonable and professional. It had rained that day and they took extra pains to be sure not to track one bit of dirt and mud into my home. They even put down some of their moving pads over the dirt in front of the steps to walk on so they wouldn't get dirt on their shoes. They moved me from Conway to MI, brought some stuff to my new home and some to storage. They packed a whole housefull in one load, dropped of the stuff for my home and then packed the other half a into a storage unit. I was amazed at how well they loaded all that stuff into the storage unit making everything fit so well and with such care. I guarentee you would not be dissappointed in their service. Give them a call for an estimate, owner Donny Gibson 843-251-2424. Good luck
