Could anyone recommend a good place to take my Honda Civic for a tune up in MB (or surrounding areas)? I just need a quick, easy, affordable place where I know I won't get ripped off. Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

For your information there is not much to a "tune up" on one of these cars. see your owners manual.

While I wish I could say "Come to my shop", I'm still stuck in Michigan so that won't help. However, I've talked to several area shops recently and I'll DM my suggestions to you.

I recently took my car to Black's Tire and Auto on 3rd Avenue South. I went in for new brake pads bc they were squealing. Mr. Fay came out to tell me my brake pads were brand-new and the issue was that my rotors were glazed over. He explained that I could "machine" them to eliminate the noise, but that from a safety standpoint I was fine.

The fact that they were honest with me instead of charging me for new pads, which they could easily have done, will earn my loyalty and repeat business, as well as referrals such as this one!
