I will be in Myrtle Beach for a week in the middle of February. I will either be staying at the Marriott or Breakers. I am wondering if there is a certified daycare nearby that will provide childcare for visiting families? I'm going to be staying there to check out properties to relocate to the Myrtle Beach area, or possibly Florence. I have no one back home that I can leave my son with for a week so I'd love to find a daycare where I could drop him off for 1-2 days during my trip so that I can handle my meetings with Realtor. Please let me know if you know of something.

Since you are working with a Realtor, you should ask him/her if there are any available. I would not think that this would be the first time the question would have been asked.

I also found this with a quick search: The Kid Center - North Myrtle Beach - Reviews of The Kid Center - TripAdvisor

Also: Day Care Services, Child Care Services | Myrtle Beach, SC

I don't know anything about either place but it sounds like they might meet your needs. Your Realtor might know more about them.

Good luck with your housing search!!

I would call Ocean View Baptist Church or First Presbyterian Church.

How old is your son?

He'll not quite be 11 months when I'm there.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I was already aware of sitter city, I'd prefer a licensed center if at all possible. I checked out the Kid Center as the first responder suggested but they only accept children who are 1 and up I'm sure I'll find something. Hopefully!
