Coming to Myrtle area for three days (Oct 22-25.). Looking for recommendations on a motel that is clean and safe with no bed bug issues. Want oceanfront room. One that doesn't break the bank. We figure this should be a good time rate-wise. This is a real estate search trip and we are mainly concentrating on Murrells area but are open to stay centrally also. Would really appreciate the help.
Thanks
Kate

If you want to be oceanfront but still close to Murrells Inlet, check out the Litchfield Inn. It's "quaint" and "rustic" and all those other terms used to politely describe places without spas or indoor heated endless rivers, but we luv it. It's old-time beach at its best. I recommend the Oceanfront Dunes Rooms, second floor. Rooms are individually owned so they are decorated differently, but these rooms have screened balconies directly on the beach with rocking chairs.

The Dunes rooms are great. My idea of a beachfront room. But, a bit more than we can pay. I noticed a place to add a discount code. Do you know where they advertise codes?
