If you want to be oceanfront but still close to Murrells Inlet, check out the
Litchfield Inn. It's "quaint" and "rustic" and all those other terms used to politely describe places without spas or indoor heated endless rivers, but we luv it. It's old-time beach at its best. I recommend the Oceanfront Dunes Rooms, second floor. Rooms are individually owned so they are decorated differently, but these rooms have screened balconies directly on the beach with rocking chairs.
