Can someone please suggest a romantic place to have dinner and dancing at the same location. Myrtle Beach, Conway to the South Strand is ok. Thanks.

Well I think that Olivers In Murells Inlet is very romantic, or even Sara J's can be nice. ( second choice)
Then for music I'd stroll over at Broadway at the Beach and see whats, what.
The girls went to the Dueling Piano Restaurant and had a great time........
That sounds like a great night to me.

I never thought I'd see Dueling Pianos & romantic in the same thread! Sorry Summering, but there's no dancing in there although it is a fun place. Better luck for dancing in some of the other clubs along that strip.

There are a few romantic restaurants in the Litchfield/Pawleys area. Frank's on Hwy 17 just south of Waverly Rd. Austin's also on 17 in between Waverly & Martin L. King Blvd... they have also opened a new high end place at the Litchfield Inn right on the beach. The only place I can think of that may be romantic & have dancing is Louis's at the Hammock Shops. Check out their schedule for a band called the "Deas Guys". They always draw a big crowd & are pretty good.

Thanks for the ideas. Yes, we are not looking for comedy or nightclub dancing. I meant a dinner/slow dance/romance kinda place. I also prefer it to be in the same location, so when you're having dinner if you want to you can get up and dance. Jazz/dinner places are good for that. Are there any in Myrtle Beach?

Dynamites at Dock Holidays Marina an upscale waterfront, multi-level deck on the Intracostal Waterway.....1525 13th Ave North Myrtle
Dynamites at Dock Holidays North Myrtle Beach Bar & Grill Restaurants
This will give you the review. I don't know about this place, but it looks like it has a good restaurant and DANCING.......Plus ya' can't beat being on the water.

Dynamites is now called "Pete's Landing", and it's not the type of place the poster is looking for! The main music area is outside, under tent. They don't do Jazz--it's mainly beach music (which I LOVE, and is great for shag-dancing), but this is NOT a "romantic" setting. It's a party, goodtime setting!

Summering - thanks for trying but that's not what I have in mind. I heard about a place Jasmines Supper Club that sounds like what I'm looking for but I also heard they closed. Does anyone know about that?

Upps, yep..........Your Jasmine supper Club is now closed.
See article above.
Well, I wonder if one of the beautiful hotels has a Jazz Supper Club?

Thanks for the tips. Will be down in a few weeks (tagging along with DH for a corporate "meeting" aka golf outing) and looking for ideas for ourselves. Thanks.

I would call Collector's Cafe on Bus 17 in MB romantic with fine food, no dancing I am pretty sure. Mayor's House in Pawleys Island used to have entertainement but don't remember if that included a dance floor.
